By definition, aesthetics revolves around pleasing the senses and making the most of the beauty and harmony in the world. Aesthetics can be found in art, fashion, music, and any aspect of life that deals with sensory perception. I don't find aesthetics superficial, because they enhance and shape our world. Aspects such as symmetry and color can impact thoughts, even to a small degree. It is important to cultivate the art of aesthetics and incorporate them into our daily lives. Despite how shallow it may seem, everyone is judged on their appearance and how their lives appear--essentially aesthetics. Learning about how to find beauty and help it grow can be a key in living a happy and fuller life.
